Hahaha. Married man fakes terror plot to avoid going on vacation with his side chick
This is a thing some men do! A 32 years old married man from India by the name Motaparthi Vamshi Krishna, reportedly went extra mile to avoid going on vacation with his side chick by reporting a fake a terror plot to the police. Police in Hyderabad arrested Motaparthi Vamshi Krishna ,on thursday for allegedly staging an elaborate hoax about a plot to hijack an aircraft in the cities of Hyderabad, Chennai and Mumbai.
According to a statement from Hyderabad City Police, Motaparthi Vamshi Krishna emailed the Mumbai police claiming to be a woman who overheard six men at a hotel plotting to hijack planes in the cities of Hyderabad, Chennai and Mumbai, India.
As a result of the 'fake report', security was beefed up at the three airports.
However, after police tracked him down by tracing the IP address of the computer that was used to send the email and CCTV footage, Krishna ended up admitting that he made the story up to avoid going on vacation with his side chick .
During police interrogation, Motaparthi Vamshi Krishna who has one child with his wife, said he staged the hoax after his online girlfriend proposed a vacation to Mumbai and Goa-- but he couldn’t afford the financial demand to take her there.
He said even though he told his girlfriend that he couldn't financially afford the trip, she insist not to take no for an answer.
So Krishna, a travel agent, decided he would try to make it look like the airline cancelled the trip, and was apparently too afraid that his girlfriend would stop talking to him if he cancelled the trip himself, so he went online and created a fake airline ticket, emailed it to his girlfriend, then tipped off the police about the phony terror plot from an internet cafe.
Speaking at a press conference, B. Limba Reddy, Deputy Commissioner of Police at the Commissioner’s Task Force in Hyderabad, who led the investigation, said,
“He didn’t have the money, but if he cancelled because of that, it would have hurt his pride, and his friendship with the girl would’ve come to an end”. “So, his thinking was that if the flight was to be cancelled and it was because of the airport, he wouldn’t be at fault.”Krishna was arrested on four charges, including impersonation and providing false information. The charges could result in up to five years in prison and a fine of 150 AUD (about $114).
