Photos: 141 men, including a British man and a Singaporean arrested by Indonesian police over gay sex party

140 men, including a British and a Singaporean have been arrested by Indonesian police on suspicion of throwing up a 'gay sex party' at a sauna in the capital Jakarta late on Sunday, 21st May.

Argo Yuwono, The police spokesman said the suspects sum up of 141 men were detained for interrogation in the Sunday raid at the gym and sauna in north Jakarta. 

According to Argo Yuwono, 'there were gay members who were caught strip-teasing and masturbating themselves in the scene.'

Police said attendees, including a British and a Singaporean, paid 185,000 rupiahs ($14; £10) in order to attend the gay party and some of those detained could be charged under Indonesia's strict anti-pornography laws which were introduced in the year 2014.

Earlier this month, it was also reported recently that the Indonesian police arrested 14 people in the city of Surabaya, the capital of Jawa Timur, located on northeastern Java island for allegedly holding up a gay party and could also face charges under anti-pornography laws thus introduced in the year 2014.
