Photo: "Ali Is A Reminder Of The Evils Of Violent Extremism" - Bukola Saraki Meets 6-years-old Boko Haram Victim and Promises To Support Him





The Senate President, Bukola Saraki on Thursday 26th July met a 6 years old Boko haram victim, Ali Ahmadu.
Ahmadu was only 3 years old when Boko Haram terrorists stormed Chibok and ran over him with a motorcycle. As a result of the unfortunate incident, Ahmadu's spinal cord was severely damaged.
Recall that Senator Dino Melaye had attended a fund raising ceremony for medical treatment of the boy organised by The Global Initiative for Peace Love & Care
Saraki said
 "To me, Ahmadu is a reminder of the evils of violent extremism. He is one of the reasons why we continue to remain committed to stamping out terrorism. He will require surgery on his spinal cord.
"Moving forward, my colleagues and I in the 8th Senate will continue to offer support to him and his family.
"We must all remember that we have come a long way in our fight to stamp out the insurgency that we once battled with. However, right now, there are a lot of families and people in our communities that are still bearing the brunt of extremism.
"We must also continue to pray for our men and women in uniform who fight to keep us safe." by this last words, He encouraged Nigerians to pray for her soldiers who fight day and night to ensure safety of their people.
