The biggest market in Zambia razed down by fire (photo)

The biggest market in Zambia located in Lusaka, the Capital, has been razed down by fire, destroying the businesses and source of income of many traders.

According to reports, the fire at the City Market started in the early hours of Tuesday 4th July 2017 but because the firefighters arrived late, the fire rapidly spread destroying so many marketers goods.

Confirming the fire incident, Lusaka Mayor Wilson Kalumba and Esther Katongo Police spokeswoman  said the cause of the fire is still being investigated. 

The City Market in Lusaka the capital of Zambia has the biggest number of traders in Zambia. They sell second-hand clothes, hardware, electrical appliances and food among many other goods.
