Photos: Ghanaian man buried in a beer bottle-shaped casket

A Ghanaian journalist, Saddick Adams on Saturday 5th August posted photos from a funeral where the deceased was buried in a coffin molded like the popular beer brand bottle, Star.

"At a funeral today in our own Ghana, the deceased was buried in a casket that was molded like a Star Beer bottle" he wrote.

According to Ghanaian media, burying the dead in specially shaped coffins is not something new in the country.

"In some localities in Ghana, the coffins are often shaped to fit the occupation of the deceased." reports Daily Graphic. "For instance a fisherman may be buried in a coffin shaped like a fish."

I guess it is safe to say that this particular deceased either guess the deceased was either died after drinking too much star beer or he is a beer bar operator. Below are more photos after the cut...
