Ghanaian man arrested for allegedly killing his wife over infidelity
Residents of Windy Ridge, A residential town in the Western region of Ghana woke up on Wednesday 12th april to the murder of a 48-year-old by woman the name Akoley Klotey allegedly killed by her husband over infidelity. The suspect,who is a private security officer by the name Francis Kwofie, already has been arrested is said to have beaten his wife to death following an accusation of she cheating and haing afair outside their marriage.
Confirming the incident, ASP Olivia Adiku the Regional Police Public Relations Officer, said at about midnight Wednesday 12th april, one Fuseina Ali a resident of Windy Ridge reported to the police that her neighbor, Francis Kwofie had attacked and brutally made a physical attack on his wife, Akoley Klotey
She said the police rushed in an uncompleted building which happens to be the crime scene and met the woman, aged about 48 years lying naked and unconscious on the floor.
According to the Regional Police Public Relations Officer the deceased was rushed to the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
She said upon careful examination of the body, multiple scares and marks of injuries were found on it.
The body of the subject has since been deposited at the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital Mortuary awaiting autopsy.
