A British woman,about 20-years old by the name Hannah Bladon has reportedly been stabbed to death on a tram in Jerusalem. Bladon was happens to be a student in the University of Birmingham. She was stabbed several times in the chest while she travelled on a tram in Tzahal Square before she died in the hospital. Reacting to the sad event, Yoram Halevy ,Jerusalem police chief said the suspect; a 57-year-old Palestinian man who was detained at the scene was "have mental disturbance" and was recently released from a mental hospital. Ms Bladon had been taking classes in archaeology, bible studies and Hebrew at the Rothberg International School,which is part of The Hebrew University.
The University of Birmingham also paid tribute to the 20-year-old saying it was "deeply saddened" to hear of Hannah Bladon's death. Below are more photos after the cut
